Veil Arms Presents | Tommy Green’s Revolution Reality

eil Arms Clothing’s Inspire/Produce/Influence Campaign only has a few months left! October’s organization is Revolution Reality, a church movement founded by Sleeping Giant vocalist Tommy Green and his wife Krissi. I’ve had a chance to visit Revolution Reality in Salt Lake City several times and I am honored to be able to say it instantly becomes a second home with a great community of believers anchoring the ministry toward growth.

Give us some background on Revolution Reality. Location, mission, description.

Tommy Green: Rev Reality is a ministry founded by my wife Krissi and I that is made up of a local group in Salt Lake City, UT and a national and international speaking and preaching ministry that works on an itinerant basis. Our mission is to raise up extravagant disciples and lovers of Jesus in our generation and encourage them

in the growth of their faith on their journey in real life. You know, we basically do stuff and things (laughs!).

What made you want to do something like this while also being a touring musician?

TG: It’s my primary passion and calling. I’m a disciple and a worshipper first and this I what I was about long before a band was even on the radar. So yeah this is something I have been committed to for years now and God willing I will run the race with endurance and Jesus will count me as a faithful friend.

What do you gain from being a part of Rev Reality? What do you hope the kids gain?

TG: I gain depth in relationship with God both vertically with Him and horizontally with the people that make up the community. I see God work and move in lives and watch Jesus influence and move and love on people and myself. I see miracles and presence and power and mercy and giving and sacrifice and friendship and food and life lived in community and sweet people lovin’ on each other and it’s amazing (laughs!).

What are some of the group’s biggest needs?

TG: More revelation of Gods heart as a father. Deeper levels of freedom in praise. The patience and time to develop in the Word of God as well as understanding the presence and leading of the Holy Spirit. Clear calling and sending out to make disciples and endurance to be faithful in the midst of a very foreign culture here in Utah, more and more and more of Jesus!!! And as far as administratively we need monthly financial supporters and intercessors. Yeah man, we are rollin’!
